Mmedara Bookshop is in the serene and peaceful city of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. This bookshop is a subsidiary of MDQuency Designs Limited and was birthed as an online bookshop for my Dad, a gifted writer named Hon. Justice (Elder) Ita G. Mbaba PJCA, OFR, Rtd.. He is a proud member of CLASS ’85 of the Faculty of Law, University of Calabar, where he studied Law, from 1981 to 1985. His first book – a collection of 64 poems, titled PEACE SPRING was published in his 3rd year, and was honoured by the, then, Dean of Faculty of Arts, Prof Ernest Emenyonu.

Hon. Justice Ita G. Mbaba, OFR, PJCA, Rtd. was born on 20th February 1955. He is an Elder of Qua Iboe Church of Nigeria, founded in 1887. He is a Christian of deep conviction, writings and lifestyle. He is blessed with a great personality, integrity and love for the Nation, God and humanity. He is a gifted writer, poet and novelists, with over 20 published works to his credit, who is widely travelled and exposed to sound and varied legal and judicial training and jurisprudence.        Mmedara Bookshop hosts, sells, distributes and manages Hon. Justice (Elder) Ita G.
